Fellow Americans,
When all of the facts from this page are considered gun control legislation is indefensible.
And, on this issue I specifically wish any one to publicly debate me according to the terms
of My Challenge to Debate Any one.

Furthermore the attempts upon limiting 2nd amendment rights in America are happening more frequently in recent years. Gun confiscation or limitation has many foot prints in history. Many nations have done this and most of them ended up with genocide. We would be wise to learn from them.

It’s time to set the score straight about the history of gun laws.
Use my collection of gun articles & gun history as a teaching tool. Please do send out to all gun owners to share with the uneducated sheeple especially for “NON-gun-owners“.

I highly recommend these educational videos

George Mason, speech in the Virginia Ratifying Convention, 1788

Gun Ownership – It’s The Law In Kennesaw
KENNESAW, Ga – Several Kennesaw officials attribute a drop in crime in the city over the past two decades to a law that requires residents to have a gun in the house.

In 1982, the Kennesaw City Council unanimously passed a law requiring heads of households to own at least one firearm with ammunition.

The ordinance states the gun law is needed to “protect the safety, security and general welfare of the city and its inhabitants.”

Then-councilman J.O. Stephenson said after the ordinance was passed, everyone “went crazy.”

“People all over the country said there would be shootings in the street and violence in homes,” he said. “Of course, that wasn’t the case.”

In fact, according to Stephenson, it caused the crime rate in the city to plunge.

Kennesaw Historical Society president Robert Jones said following the law’s passage, the crime rate dropped 89 percent in the city, compared to the modest 10 percent drop statewide.

“It did drop after it was passed,” he said. “After it initially dropped, it has stayed at the same low level for the past 16 years.”

Mayor Leonard Church was not in office when the law was passed, but he said he is a staunch supporter of it.

“You can’t argue with the fact that Kennesaw has the lowest crime rate of any city our size in the country,” said Church, who owns a denture-making company in Kennesaw.

The author of the ordinance, local attorney Fred Bentley Sr., attributes at least some of the decrease in crime to the bill.

“I am definitely in favor of what we did,” he said. “It may not be totally responsible for the decrease, [but] it is a part.”

Although he is pleased with the outcome, Bentley said he was originally opposed to drafting the law.

“I didn’t think it could be written in a constitutional fashion,” he said. “Obviously, it was constitutional, because the American Civil Liberties Union challenged it in court and we won.”

Jones said the ACLU challenged the law in a federal court just after it was passed. In response, the city added a clause adding conscientious objectors to the list of those exempt.

Although the law is now being credited with a drop in crime, Jones said that was not the law’s original purpose. He also pointed out that Kennesaw did not have a big problem with crime before.

“The crime rate wasn’t that high to start with. It was 11 burglaries per 1,000 residents in 1981,” he said.

According to the Kennesaw Police Department, the city’s most recent crime statistics show 243 property crimes per 100,000 residents in 1998, or .243 per 1,000.

The city’s crime rate continues to be far below other metro Atlanta city’s with similar populations, like Decatur. In 1998, Decatur recorded 4,049 property crimes per 100,000 residents.

Jones said one motivation for the council passing the ordinance had to do with publicity.

“It was done in response to a law passed by Morton Grove, Ill., outlawing gun ownership within the city limits,” he said. “Several council members were upset Morton Grove had gotten a lot of attention with their ordinance so they decided to top them.

“They figured the gun ownership ordinance would knock that city right off the front pages. They were right.”

Jones said the ensuing publicity surrounding the law has given Kennesaw worldwide name recognition.

“I have been to Australia and Europe and when I tell people I am from Kennesaw they recognize the name as the place that requires everyone to own a gun,” he said.

But Stephenson said the issue was not publicity-driven but issue-driven.

“We believed in the right of people to own guns,” he said.

Jones said he has sold 550 copies of a 1994 book about the first-of-its-kind law, “The Law Heard ‘Round the World.”

He said the law in its final form has many loopholes, so not everyone is required to own a gun.

“There are many outs,” he said. “When you look at it, almost anyone could fit into one of the exempted groups.”

Kennesaw Police Chief Dwaine Wilson said no one has ever been prosecuted under the ordinance.

Among those exempt are residents “who conscientiously oppose maintaining firearms as a result of beliefs or religious doctrine.” Others exempt include the physically and mentally disabled, paupers and those convicted of a felony.

The law contains no clause addressing punishment for violating the law. If convicted, City Clerk Diane Coker said punishment would be determined by the general penalty clause of the Kennesaw Code Ordinance – probably a fine of about $100.

Jones said the unusual law has not deterred anyone from moving to Kennesaw.

“Our population has increased just like everyone’s in Georgia in the past 20 years,” he said. “The law really hasn’t done any harm to the city’s growth.”

The city’s population in 1998 was recorded at 14,493 – a sharp increase over the 8,936 residents recorded in the 1990 census.

Cobb Chamber of Commerce president Bill Cooper said odd laws are typically not counted as strike against a city when a business is looking to relocate.

“These laws don’t have laws don’t have an impact on a company’s decision to move to Cobb County,” Cooper said.

“Many communities have strange laws that are out of date. Businesses look at many factors when relocating, such as quality of life, education, infrastructure and available workforce.”

Bentley said the law actually may have helped business development.

“Kennesaw is home to more manufacturing businesses than any other Cobb city,” he said. “Companies have said they want to be located in conservative areas.”

And Kennesaw isn’t the only city in Cobb with an unusual law on the books.

According to Jeff Koon, who runs a Web site specializing in funny laws, Dumblaws.com, Acworth has a ordinance requiring residents to own a rake.

In Marietta, it is illegal to spit from a car or a bus, but perfectly legal to spit from a truck.

Shooting in Butte, Montana / November 5, 2007
Preteen Vs. illegal alien home invasion robbery
—  Two illegal aliens, Raphael Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11 year old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two-story home.It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana; and Patricia had been a clays shooting champion since she was nine. Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father’s room and grabbed his 12 gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun.

Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor, only to be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old’s knee crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals.

When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death before medical help could arrive.

It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45 caliber handgun he had taken from another home invasion robbery. That victim, 50-year-old David Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the chest.

An 11 year old girl, properly trained, defends her home and herself against two murderous, illegal aliens and wins. She is still alive, the bad guys are dead, and you probably never heard the story before now. Ever wonder why this sort of positive gun story never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, & MSNBC, CNN, or ABC news? Pretty obvious, isn’t it? This story doesn’t fit the liberal mainstream media view that guns are bad and need to be controlled. Had this story happened in California or any other state with gun lock and storage laws, and had the father obeyed those counterproductive, unconstitutional laws, the girl would be raped, dead or both, the home looted, and two dirtbags would’ve been out on the street to rob, rape and murder again. But not to worry, your politicians and the media will continue to cooperate to keep stories like this away from you, and will continue to overwhelm you with carefully selected stories that are designed to convince you that “gun control is good”  — always ignoring, of course, that criminal wolves simply love legislatively disarmed sheep….. . . .

The Australian Experience

Since gun owners in Australia were forced by new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their own Government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars. The first year results are now in:
1) Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2 percent.
2) Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6 percent.
3) Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)!
4) In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300%. Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not, and criminals still possess their guns!
5) While Australian figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12 months, since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed.
6) There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the ELDERLY. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has decreased, after such monumental effort, and expense was expended in successfully ridding Australian society of guns. The Australian experience and the other historical facts above prove it.
7) You won’t see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information.

Over the previous 25 years, statistics had shown a steady decrease in armed robberies and Australian politicians are on the spot and at a loss to explain how no improvement in “safety” has been observed after such monumental effort and expense was successfully expended in “ridding society of guns.”It’s time to state it plainly; guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and propterty and, yes, gun-control laws (in the long run) only afflict the law abiding citizens. Take action before it’s too late, write or call your State and Federal Representatives and Senators.

It ain’t about controlling guns in the hands of criminals, folks, it is about CONTROL of you and me by the REAL CRIMINALS – The International Oligarchy!! ULTIMATE CONTROL!!

The 1938 Nazi Weapons Law that disarmed, enslaved and ultimately “terminated”, i.e. murdered the Jews is alive and well in the United States, and is called “The Gun Control Act of 1968″, and is enforced by a modern day Gestapo, known as the “Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (BATF) SWAT Teams.”  But as we all know, “They are just following orders.”
Notice that the men were not all white nor were they all Jews. They were just like you and me!!

His crime? He along with 9 other pastors had written to Hitler:
“Our people are trying to break the bond set by God. That is human conceit rising against God.  In this connection we must warn the Fuhrer, that the adoration frequently bestowed on him is only due to God. Some years ago the Fuhrer objected to having his picture placed on Protestant altars. Today his thoughts are used as a basis not only for political decisions but also for morality and law. He himself is surrounded with the dignity of a priest and even of an intermediary between God and man.

Montana Governor Signs New Gun Law – (DARES Obama To Challenge it!)
The state of Montana has signed into power a revolutionary gun law. I mean REVOLUTIONARY.
The State of Montana has defied the federal government and their gun laws. This will prompt a showdown between the federal government and the State of Montana . The federal government fears citizens owning guns. They try to curtail what types of guns they can own. The gun control laws all have one common goal – confiscation of privately owned firearms.

Montana has gone beyond drawing a line in the sand. They have challenged the Federal Government. The fed now either takes them on and risks them saying the federal agents have no right to violate their state gun laws and arrest the federal agents that try to enforce the federal firearms acts. This will be a world-class event to watch.

Montana could go to voting for secession from the union, which is really throwing the gauntlet in Obama’s face. If the federal government does nothing they lose face. Gotta love it.

Important Points – If guns and ammunition are manufactured inside the State of Montana for sale and use inside that state then the federal firearms laws have no applicability since the federal government only has the power to control commerce across state lines. Montana has the law on their side. Since when did the USA start following their own laws especially the constitution of the USA , the very document that empowers the USA .

Silencers made in Montana and sol in Montana would be fully legal and not registered. As a note silencers were first used before the 007 movies as a device to enable one to hunt without disturbing neighbors and scaring game. They were also useful as devices to control noise when practicing so as to not disturb the neighbors.

Silencers work best with a bolt-action rifle. There is a long barrel and the chamber is closed tight so as to direct all the gases though the silencer at the tip of the barrel. Semi-auto pistols and revolvers do not really muffle the sound very well except on the silver screen. The revolvers bleed gas out with the sound all over the place. The semi-auto pistols bleed the gases out when the slide recoils back.

Silencers are maybe nice for snipers picking off enemy soldiers even though they reduce velocity but not very practical for hit men shooting pistols in crowded places. Silencers were useful tools for gun enthusiasts and hunters.

There would be no firearm registration, serial numbers, criminal records check, waiting periods or paperwork required. So in a short period of time there would be millions and millions of unregistered untraceable guns in Montana . Way to go Montana !
THE TEXT OF THE LAW IS ALSO POSTED ON THIS PAGE:

Apply the facts below from:
-          “The World’s Largest Army”.
-          “Here is why he is correct”.
-          “And that is just four states”.
to the porous US/Mexican border situation and you’ll understand Homeland Security Department policy. DHS is at the border to protect the illegal alien invaders.

The World’s Largest Army
In WWII, Japan’s highest-ranking naval officer was Isoruku Yamamoto. Although he was Japanese, and his loyalties were unquestionably with The Empire, he studied for many years in America, graduating from Harvard University. There is an oft-repeated (and sometimes disputed) quote attributed to him regarding the possibility of any nation taking a war to American soil:
“You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind
every blade of grass.” Isoruku Yamamoto – Japans Naval Leader

Here is why he was correct:
America’s Hunters. The World’s Largest Army.
The state of Wisconsin has gone an entire deer hunting season without someone getting killed. That’s great, considering there were over 600,000 hunters that got permits this year.
Allow me to restate that number: 600,000.
Over the last two months, the eighth largest army in the world – more men under arms than Iran; more than France and Germany combined – deployed to the woods of a single American state to keep the deer population under control.
But that pales in comparison to the 750,000 who are in the woods of Pennsylvania this week. Michigan’s 700,000 hunters have now returned home. Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia, and it is literally the case that the hunters of those four states alone would comprise the largest army in the world.

And that is just FOUR states.
The total population of registered hunters in America today ranges from 23 million to 43.7 million individuals. (Based on annual data provided by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.) As long as the American Hunter retains his right to Bear Arms, America will forever be safe from foreign invasion of troops.
Hunting – it’s not just a way to fill the freezer. It’s a matter of National Security.

Doctors or Guns?:

(A) The number of Physicians in the USA is 700,000.
(B) Accidental Deaths in the USA is 120,000.
(C) Accidental Deaths Per Physician is 0.71.
(Statistics: Courtesy of the U.S. Department of Human Services.)

Now think about:  “Guns”
(A)
The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000. (Yes, that’s 80 million)
(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500.
(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is .000188. (Statistics courtesy of FBI)

So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.
Remember, ‘Guns don’t kill people, doctors do..’
FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.

Please alert your friends to this alarming threat.
We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!!!!! Out of concern for the public at large, I withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention.

* Test his/her resolve by asking them to post one of these stickers on their front door!

Gun Free Household* Disclaimer: For novelty purposes only — please do not actually post this on a household front door as the occupants may be subject to visits by all manner of criminal molesters and miscreants. This sticker is hazardous to you and your family’s health!

…….. I mean…why not, right? Or, let them know that research has shown that almost all violent crime offenders choose victims who are least likely to own a gun to defend themselves.

Non-gun-owning households depend on gun-owning households for their protection because criminals don’t know the difference — unless they put one of these on their front door!

Ralph, My neighbor is a “lefty” of sorts (Obama bumper stickers, gung-ho socialized medicine, “guns should be banned”, etc.).  So last week I put this sign up in my yard
after one of his anti-gun rants at a neighborhood cocktail party.
The sign wasn’t up more than an hour before he called the police and wanted them to make me take down the sign.  Fortunately, the officer politely informed him that it was not their job to take such action without a court order and that he had to file a complaint “downtown” first, which would be reviewed by the city attorney to see if it violated any city, county, or state ordinances, which if there was a violation a court order would be sent to the offending party (me) to “remove the sign in seven days”.

After several weeks he was informed that the sign was legal (by a quarter of an inch) and there was nothing the city could do, which obviously made him madder.  I tried to smooth things over by inviting him to go shooting with me and my friends at the hunt club but that seemed to make him even more angry.  I then asked him if he wanted to go to a Tea Party rally but again he declined my outreach efforts to bring about a better understanding between political and social opponents.

I am at a loss how to reconcile our long relationship (notice I did not say friendship), any suggestions would be welcome.

Anyway, that’s life in our neck of the woods, how’s about yours?

In other words, the 4th Amendment does not apply to people not breaking the law, just those that do. Does this mean that they can search and seize property without violating the Constitution, as long as it is an “administrative search”. What’s wrong with these crazy b@stards?

Actually it does, and state and local police are taking advantage of the “loop hole” in the Bill of Rights created by the crazy b@stards. And you have no right to resist!.

Anti-Gun Dem Senator Uses Lethal Force at HIS home!!!

To: Rep. John Sarbanes, President Barack Obama, Sen. Barbara Mikulski, Sen. Benjamin Cardin
ABOR CITY, N.C. — A sheriff says a North Carolina state senator shot one of two intruders at his home and hospital officials say the man is in fair condition.
Multiple media outlets reported that Columbus County Sheriff Chris Batten said that 74-year-old Sen. R.C. Soles of Tabor City shot Kyle Blackburn late Sunday afternoon.
A spokeswoman at Loris Community Hospital in South Carolina said Monday that Blackburn was in fair condition.
Batten says the shooting occurred when two men went to the senator’s house and tried to kick in his front door. No charges have been filed.
The sheriff’s office said the State Bureau of Investigation was handling the case. A call to an agency spokeswoman was not immediately returned. There was no answer at a number listed for Soles’ home.

Long time Anti-Gun Advocate State Senator R.C. Soles, 74, shot one of two intruders at his home just outside Tabor City, N.C. about 5 p.m. Sunday, the prosecutor for the politician’s home county said.
The victim, Kyle Blackburn, was taken to a South Carolina hospital, but the injuries were not reported to be life-threatening, according to Rex Gore, district attorney for Columbus, Bladen and Brunswick counties..
The State Bureau of Investigation and Columbus County Sheriff’s Department are investigating the shooting, Gore said. Soles, who was not arrested, declined to discuss the incident Sunday evening.
“I am not in a position to talk to you,” Soles said by telephone. “I’m right in the middle of an investigation.”
Soles, a top-ranking Democrat and the longest-serving member of the legislature, already was the subject of an SBI investigation over sexual misconduct allegations with former male clients. (Now, that sounds more like a liberal to me).
The Senator, who has made a career of being against gun ownership for the general public, didn’t hesitate to defend himself with his own gun when he believed he was in immediate danger and he was the victim.
In typical hypocritical liberal fashion, the “Do As I Say And Not As I Do” Anti-Gun Activist Lawmaker picked up his gun and took action in what apparently was a self-defense shooting. Why hypocritical, you may ask? It is because his long legislative record shows that the actions that he took to protect his family, his own response to a dangerous life-threatening situation, are actions that he feels ordinary citizens should not have if they were faced with an identical situation.
It has prompted some to ask if the Senator believes his life and personal safety is more valuable than yours or mine. But this is to be expected from those who believe they can run our lives, raise our kids, and protect our families better than we can.

Our safety, our liberty, depends upon preserving the Constitution

overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.

Trade in those pigskins for guns and bullets?

What is the world coming to? A high school football coach is on trial for killing one of his players.

At least, that’s what a prosecutor is arguing in Kentucky , where a jury will decide the fate of former coach Jason Stinson.

Coach Stinson had enough of the kids goofing off one day. So after a long, two-hour practice, he told the players to start running wind-sprints until someone quit. Two players eventually did quit … five got sick … and one collapsed. The one who dropped unconscious was offensive lineman Max Gilpin, who died three days later in the hospital.

It’s very unusual for this type of death to make the news. Sure the media covered the death of Korey Stringer, one of the Minnesota Viking’s top players in 2001, when he died of heat stroke at practice one day. But the media only made a big news story of Stringer’s death because he was a celebrity.

It’s very rare to see coverage of these kinds of deaths, even though — and for this you have to be sitting down — more high school kids die playing football than get killed by gunfire on campus!

That’s right. Despite what media coverage might seem to indicate, there are more deaths related to high school football than guns. Over a recent three year period, more football players died from hits to the head, heat stroke, etc. (32), as compared with students who were murdered by firearms on campus (29) during that same time period.

Most people would never realize this because more attention is given to gun deaths in the mainstream media. Never mind the fact that guns are used 50-80 times more often to save life than to take life. And never mind that every day, Americans use guns 4,000-7,000 times in self-defense.

Guns have even been used to save lives on campuses around the country:
* In 1997, Assistant Principal Joel Myrick saved the lives of countless students when he used his own gun to stop a student from continuing his deadly rampage at a Mississippi high school.

* A year later, James Strand used his shotgun to disarm a gunman at a school dance in Edinboro , Pennsylvania — holding the shooter until the police arrived.

* In 2002, two law school students at the Appalachian School of Law in Virginia used their own personal guns to stop Peter Odighizuwa’s rampage. The students held the shooter until the police arrived.

The stories of self-defense are endless — and they’re not just confined to schools. Just months after the Virginia Tech shooting, Jeanne Assam used her concealed firearm to save hundreds of lives at a Colorado church. She shot a gunman who was armed with hundreds of rounds of ammunition and, thus, prevented what could have potentially become one of the greatest massacres on U.S. soil.

There has never been a documented case of a football saving people’s lives. And yet, when you look at the statistics, guns are actually safer than pigskins on high school campuses!

So what are we to make of all this? There are already rules in place to limit football practice during excessively hot days since, by far, the leading killer of high school football players is heat stroke. But should more be done?

Should we institute background checks before the purchase of every football or entirely ban the private sale of these pigskins? Should we impose an age limit for spectators wishing to attend a football game or limit the advertisements for these gladiator forums? Of course not. And yet, these are the very kinds of calls that we hear every time there is a school shooting.

There is clearly a double standard when it comes to this kind of reporting. One could only hope that the media would now start covering football-related deaths — which occur more frequently — with the same tenacity that they cover gun-related deaths.

But don’t count on it.

Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force.
by Maj. L. Caudill USMC (Ret)

If you want me to do something for you, you have a choice of either  convincing me via argument, or force me to do your bidding under threat of force. Every human interaction falls into one of those two categories, without exception. Reason or force, that’s it.

In a truly moral and civilized society, people exclusively interact through persuasion. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

When I carry a gun, you cannot deal with me by force. You have to use reason and try to persuade me, because I have a  way to negate your threat or employment of force.

The gun is the only personal weapon that  puts a 100-pound woman on equal footing with a 220-pound mugger, a 75-year  old retiree on equal footing with a 19-year old gang banger, and a single  guy on equal footing with a carload of drunk guys with baseball bats. The  gun removes the disparity in physical strength, size, or numbers between a  potential attacker and a defender.

There are plenty of people who consider the gun as the source of bad force  equations. These are the people who think that we’d be more civilized if all  guns were removed from society, because a firearm makes it easier for a [armed] mugger to do his job. That, of course, is only true if the mugger’s  potential victims are mostly disarmed either by choice or by legislative  fiat — it has no validity when most of a mugger’s potential marks are armed.

People who argue for the banning of arms ask for automatic rule by the young, the strong, and the many, and that’s the exact opposite of a civilized society. A mugger, even an armed one, can only make a successful  living in a society where the state has granted him a force monopoly.

Then there’s the argument that the gun makes confrontations lethal that otherwise would only result in injury. This argument is fallacious in several ways. Without guns involved, confrontations are won by the physically superior party inflicting overwhelming injury on the loser.

People who think that fists, bats, sticks, or stones don’t constitute lethal force watch too much TV, where people take beatings and come out of it with a bloody lip at worst. The fact that the gun makes lethal force easier works solely in favor of the weaker defender, not the stronger attacker. If both are armed, the field is level.

The gun is the only weapon that’s as lethal in the hands of an octogenarian as it is in the hands of a weight lifter. It simply wouldn’t work as well as a force equalizer if it wasn’t both lethal and easily employable.

When I carry a gun, I don’t do so because I am looking for a fight, but because I’m looking to be left alone. The gun at my side means that I cannot  be forced, only persuaded. I don’t carry it because I’m afraid, but because it enables me to be unafraid. It doesn’t limit the actions of those who would interact with me through reason, only the actions of those who would do so by force. It removes force from the equation — and that’s why carrying  a gun is a civilized act.

In short, the greatest civilization is one where all citizens are equally armed and can only be persuaded, never forced. Just ask the Swiss!

This really happened ……
You’re sound asleep when you hear a thump outside your bedroom door. Half-awake, and nearly paralyzed with fear, you hear muffled whispers. At least two people have broken into your house and are moving your way. With your heart pumping, you reach down beside your bed and pick up your shotgun. You rack a shell into the chamber, then inch toward the door and open it. In the darkness, you make out two shadows. One holds something that looks like a crowbar.

When the intruder brandishes it as if to strike, you raise the shotgun and fire. The blast knocks both thugs to the floor. One writhes and screams while the second man crawls to the front door and lurches outside. As you pick up the telephone to call police, you know you’re in trouble.

In your country, most guns were outlawed years before, and the few that are privately owned are so stringently regulated as to make them useless. Yours was never registered. Police arrive and inform you that the second burglar has  died. They arrest you for First Degree Murder and Illegal Possession of a Firearm. When you talk to your attorney, he tells you not to worry: authorities will probably plea the case down to manslaughter.

“What kind of sentence will I get?” you ask. Only ten-to-twelve years, he replies, as if that’s nothing. “Behave yourself, and  you’ll be out in seven.” The next day, the shooting is the lead story in the local newspaper. Somehow, you’re portrayed as an eccentric vigilante while the two men you shot are represented as choirboys. Their friends and relatives can’t find an unkind word to say about them.

Buried deep down in the article, authorities acknowledge that both “victims” have been arrested numerous times. But the next day’s headline says it all: “Lovable Rogue Son Didn’t Deserve to  Die.” The thieves have been transformed from career criminals into Robin Hood-type pranksters. As the days wear on, the story takes wings. The national media picks it  up, then the international media. The surviving burglar has become a folk  hero. Your attorney says the thief is preparing to sue you, and he’ll probably win. The media publishes reports that your home has been burglarized several times in the past and that you’ve been critical of local police for their lack of effort in apprehending the suspects. After the last break-in, you told your neighbor that you would be prepared next time. The District Attorney uses this to allege that you were lying in wait for the burglars. A few months later, you go to trial. The charges haven’t been reduced, as your lawyer had so confidently predicted. When you take the stand, your anger at the injustice of it all works against you. Prosecutors paint a picture of you as a mean, vengeful man. It doesn’t take long for the jury to convict you of all charges. The judge sentences you to life in prison.

This case really happened. On August 22, 1999, Tony Martin of Emneth, Norfolk , England, killed one burglar and wounded a second. In April, 2000, he was convicted and is now serving a life term.

How did it become a crime to defend one’s own life in the once great British Empire ?
It started with the Pistols Act of  1903.  This seemingly reasonable law forbade selling pistols to minors or felons and established that handgun sales were to be made only to those who had a license. The Firearms Act of 1920 expanded licensing to include not only handguns but all firearms except shotguns.

Later laws passed in 1953 and 1967 outlawed the carrying of any weapon by private citizens and mandated the registration of all shotguns.

Momentum for total handgun confiscation began in earnest after the Hungerford mass shooting in 1987.  Michael Ryan, a mentally disturbed man with a Kalashnikov rifle, walked down the streets shooting everyone he saw. When the smoke cleared, 17 people were dead.

The British public, already de-sensitized by eighty years of “gun control”, demanded even tougher restrictions. (The seizure of all privately owned handguns was the objective even though Ryan used a rifle.)

Nine years later, at Dunblane, Scotland, Thomas Hamilton used a semi-automatic weapon to murder 16 children and a teacher at a public school. For many years, the media had portrayed all gun owners as mentally unstable or worse, criminals. Now the press had a real kook with which to beat up law-abiding gun owners. Day after day, week after week, the media gave up all pretense of objectivity and demanded a total ban on all handguns. The Dunblane Inquiry, a few months later, sealed the fate of the few side arms still owned by private citizens.

During the years in which the British government incrementally took away most gun rights, the notion that a citizen had the right to armed self-defense came to be seen as vigilantism. Authorities refused to grant gun licenses to people who were threatened, claiming that self-defense was no longer considered a reason to own a gun. Citizens who shot burglars or robbers or rapists were charged while the real criminals were released.

Indeed, after the Martin shooting, a police spokesman was quoted as saying, “We cannot have people take the law into their own hands.”

All of Martin’s neighbors had been robbed numerous times, and several elderly people were severely injured in beatings by young thugs who had no fear of the consequences. Martin himself, a collector of antiques, had seen most of his collection trashed or stolen by burglars.

When the Dunblane Inquiry ended, citizens who owned handguns were given three months to turn them over to local authorities.

Being good British subjects, most people obeyed the law. The few who didn’t were visited by police and threatened with ten-year prison sentences if they didn’t comply. Police later bragged that they’d taken nearly 200,000 handguns from private citizens.

How did the authorities know who had handguns?
The guns had been registered and licensed; Kind of like cars… Sound familiar?

Why Carry a Gun?
My old grandpa said to me, “Son, there comes a time in every man’s life when he stops bustin’ knuckles and starts bustin’ caps and usually it’s when he becomes too old to take an ass whoopin’. “I don’t carry a gun to kill people. I carry a gun to keep from being killed. I don’t carry a gun to scare people. I carry a gun because sometimes this world can be a scary place. I don’t carry a gun because I’m paranoid. I carry a gun because there are real threats in the world. I don’t carry a gun because I’m evil. I carry a gun because I have lived long enough to see the evil in the world. I don’t carry a gun because I hate the government. I carry a gun because I understand the limitations of government. I don’t carry a gun because I’m angry. I carry a gun so that I don’t have to spend the rest of my life hating myself for failing to be prepared. I don’t carry a gun because I want to shoot someone. I carry a gun because I want to die at a ripe old age in my bed, and not on a sidewalk somewhere tomorrow afternoon.

I don’t carry a gun to make me feel like a man. I carry a gun because men know how to take care of themselves and the ones they love.

I don’t carry a gun because I feel inadequate. I carry a gun because unarmed and facing three armed thugs, I am inadequate.

I don’t carry a gun because I love it. I carry a gun because I love life and the people who make it meaningful to me.” Police Protection” is an oxymoron. Free citizens must protect themselves. Police do not protect you from crime; they investigate the crime after it happens – and then try to clean up the mess. Personally, I carry a gun because I’m too young to die and too old to take an ass whoopin’.

Canadian Troops To Patrol US Cities As Food Riots Feared
By: Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Western Subscribers

Russian Military Analysts are reporting in the Kremlin today that the United States has, for the first time in its history, granted rights to a Foreign Army to have ‘full power’ over the life and death of American Citizens in their own country.

Though not being reported to the American people by their propaganda media organs, the United States Northern Command Military Leader, US Air Force Gen. Gene Renuart, and his Canadian counterpart, Air Force Lt.-Gen. Marc Dumais [both pictured top left] announced this new Military Pact this past week, and as we can read:
“U.S. Air Force Gen. Gene Renuart, commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command, and Canadian Air Force Lt.-Gen. Marc Dumais, commander of Canada Command, have signed a Civil Assistance Plan that allows the military from one nation to support the armed forces of the other nation during a civil emergency.

“This document is a unique, bilateral military plan to align our respective national military plans to respond quickly to the other nation’s requests for military support of civil authorities,”   Renuart said. “Unity of effort during bilateral support for civil support operations such as floods, forest fires, hurricanes, earthquakes and effects of a terrorist attack, in order to save lives, prevent human suffering and mitigate damage to property, is of the highest importance, and we need to be able to have forces that are flexible and adaptive to support rapid decision-making in a collaborative environment.”

It is interesting to note, too, that the Canadian peoples, like their American neighbors to the south, were not told of these plans for their Military Forces, and as we can read as reported by Canada ‘s Canwest News Service, and who say:
” Canada and the U.S. have signed an agreement that paves the way for the militaries from either nation to send troops across each other’s borders during an emergency, but some are questioning why the Harper government has kept silent on the deal. Neither the Canadian government nor the Canadian Forces announced the new agreement, which was signed Feb. 14 in Texas .”

Russian Colonel Gen Vladimir Bulgakov, Commander of Russia’s Far East Military District, points out in these Reports that it is ‘no wonder’ that neither the US or Canadian War Leaders want the masses of their citizens to know about these ‘unprecedented’ events as ‘soldiers by their inherent training are for use in war, not peace’.

These reports further note that though Canada currently possesses 125,000 active Military and 36,500 Reserve Troops, the majority of which have been ‘combat hardened’ in the US Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the only Canadian Troops available for any, so called, ‘civil emergency’ in the United States, are soldiers from its Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM), and which Russian Military Commanders rate as being one of the top Special Forces Units among all of the World’s Army’s.

The more likely use of these Canadian Troops on American Soil, these reports go on to say, would be for the patrolling of US Cities during times of civil war, internal unrest, or, most fearfully, the assisting of US Police in the rounding up of masses of US Citizens for arrest and internment.

This assessment of the truest intentions of the United States War Leaders granting power over their own citizens to Canadian Special Forces Troops, appears to be supported by information coming from US Troops returning from Iraq, and as we can read as reported by the Prison Planet News Service in their report titled “U.S. Troops Asked If They Would Shoot American Citizens”, and which says:
” U.S. troops are being trained to conduct round-ups, confiscate guns and shoot American citizens, including their own friends and family members, as part of a long-standing program to prepare for the declaration of martial law, according to a soldier who recently returned from Iraq .”

We received an email from “Scott”, a member of a pipefitters union that runs an apprenticeship program called Helmets To Hard Hats, which according to its website “Is a national program that connects National Guard, Reserve and transitioning active-duty military members with quality career training and employment opportunities within the construction industry.”

Scott writes that his company hired a soldier who had recently returned from Iraq , who told him that U.S. troops were being quizzed on whether or not they would be prepared to shoot their own friends and family members during a national state of emergency in America .

An estimated timeline in these reports states that the American people could begin seeing Canadian Soldiers in their cities as early as this summer, as many experts are predicting that the massive food shortages being reported all around the World will begin causing food riots in many American cities.

To how bad the Global Food Crisis is becoming we can read as reported by Australia ‘s Adelaide Now News Service, and which says:  “A WORSENING global food shortage is a problem far more urgent than climate change, top Australian scientists have warned. The Australian Science Media Centre briefing heard why prices for some staple foods had risen by as much as 60 per cent in the past year, and how dramatic price rises are expected to sweep across all staples in the near future.”

There remains no evidence to suggest, either, that the American people themselves are aware of the brutal future being planned for them.  Even more sadly, perhaps, is the evidence suggesting that they don’t even want to know.

GUNS AND GOD
By: Devvy November 10, 2008
© 2008 – NewsWithViews.com

“Suffer not yourselves to be betrayed with a kiss.” -Patrick Henry, March 23, 1775.

There is an estimated 80-plus million gun owners in this country. For nearly a half century gun owners have been fighting Congress and the state houses over one anti-Second Amendment bill after another. For half a century, gun owners have continued to win a skirmish without ever winning the war.

Barack Hussein Obama is dangerous to freedom and liberty and your gun rights. In the weeks leading up to the hoax called the November 4, 2008, elections, gun sales went through the roof; the pace continues. Gun owners who paid attention to Obama’s record and position on the Second Amendment http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/illinois-state-rifle-association-executive/story.aspx?guid=%7BBDDE40AA-F62E-40ED-8F10-BF93012A473E%7D&dist=hppr
became very, very afraid. With a Democrat controlled Congress, there will be no one to stop Obama from signing unconstitutional guns bills into law.

Where were the gun owners on election day? If only 50% of gun owners voted, roughly 40 million strong, even vote fraud could not have pushed Obama over the top. If every gun owner in this country voted last week, or close to 100% against Obama, I wouldn’t be writing this column. How many gun owners voted for Obama for the promise of ‘universal health care’? Congress has NO authority to legislate such a monstrosity that would put a bullet through the heart of an already comatose economy. How many gun owners voted for Obama because he promised to create jobs? The president has NO authority to create a single job. Only the House of Representatives has the authority under Art. 1, Sec. 8., to raise bills of expenditure for a limited form of republican government.

Congress is responsible for the collapse of our monetary system and current financial breakdown. Congress destroyed the finest health care system in the world. Do people actually believe the same old Congress allegedly just rehired is going to fix the problem after decades of ignoring the real solutions? Gun owners who voted for promises that will never be kept will soon see they voted for America’s destruction if they don’t hunker down, stop trying to fight brush fires and put an end to the problem once and for all.

When will gun owners in this country ‘get it’? When will they finally realize the destroyers are not going to stop until owning a gun is nothing but symbolic. More and more laws will be passed until what you end up with is a hunk of empty metal, the clip and ammunition tucked away in the attic as a result of more and more ‘safety’ laws. Sound ridiculous? The continuing compromise over Second Amendment legislation has not brought your right to own and bear arms a single step closer to the solution.

Now that gun owners have stocked up on new weapons and more ammo, just what are you going to do with them?

There will be no out right confiscation of guns on a whole scale basis. Even Obama isn’t that stupid….unless circumstances can be engineered whereby martial law is declared. Then what? Americans shooting at each other? For those who think this can’t happen here in America, take off the blinders.

Creating jack booted thugs
Most Americans have no clue about the history of the world. They know nothing about Mussolini’s Black Shirt Militia or Hitler’s Brown Shirts. Make no mistake: Obama will do everything in his power to create a very dangerous new “force” that should scare the hell out of every American: “We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.”

What Obama has in mind is NOT the well regulated militia under the states as mandated by the Second Amendment. What he has in mind will be hell for this country. Obama supporters should watch this short video; most won’t because they don’t want the truth about their new agent of “change.” Watch this impostor who is trying to bluff his way into the White House as he stands next to a butcher named Raila Odinga, his cousin. Just take a look at what Obama has supported: death and slaughter. Odinga ran on the ticket of ‘change’ and redistribution of wealth. Sound familiar? Why didn’t you see this on your local news or the cable networks before election day? Odinga ordered all records relating to Obama’s birth sealed. Now Odinga expects the pay off.

(This is why Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton & Obama want gun control so badly!)
Barack Obama’s Slippery Oratory
By Wayne LaPierre  -”NRA”-  http://www.nrapublications.org/SG/index.html
http://www.nrapublications.org/SG/index.html

To understand Barack Obama on the Second Amendment, you have to know about the clash of character between the then-Chicago state senator and an ordinary citizen who exercised his right to armed self-defense in violation of a local gun ban.

That citizen was a 52-year-old resident of Wilmette, Illinois who, on December 28, 2003 woke to find that during the night his home had been invaded by a career criminal; a thief who stole household items, keys and the homeowner’s car.

The victim, Hale DeMar, described his fear in a letter to the Chicago Sun Times:

“For me, the seconds until I found my children still safely tucked in their beds were horrifying … The police were called and in routine fashion they came, took the report and with little concern left, promising to increase surveillance. Little comfort, since the invader now had keys to our home and our automobiles. The police informed me that this was not an uncommon event in east Wilmette and offered their condolences …”

Not 24 hours after the first burglary, the thief returned. Using DeMar’s house keys, the man entered the home, this time setting off the alarm system, automatically notifying the security company. Given the previous night’s lackluster response by police, DeMar was prepared, armed with a handgun—legally purchased years before and kept in a safe. But under Wilmette ’s gun ban, that firearm in the home was illegal.

DeMar confronted the criminal, and believing his children were in danger, shot the burglar who then fled the home.

“Until you are shocked by a piercing alarm in the middle of the night and met in your kitchen by a masked invader as your children shudder in their beds, until you confront that very real nightmare, please don’t suggest that some village trustee knows better …”

“If my actions have spared only one family from the distress and trauma that this habitual criminal has caused hundreds of others, then I have served my civic duty and taken one evil creature off of our streets, something that our impotent criminal justice system had failed to do, despite some thirty odd arrests, plea bargains and suspended sentences.”

The burglar, who was arrested after driving DeMar’s stolen SUV to a hospital, had an extensive criminal record.

Cook County prosecutors ultimately declared DeMar’s use of a firearm to be justified. But Wilmette village officials pressed nonetheless to prosecute him for illegal possession of his handgun—a charge punishable by a huge fine and jail time. A town official was quoted in Reason magazine saying, “We need to set the example that we’re trying to protect our citizens.” And he said, DeMar—by possessing a legally purchased handgun—“is endangering innocent civilians.”

Now, by studying this incident, we can learn that Obama’s alleged support of the Second Amendment is utterly cynical and false.

The outcry of the Illinois public was heard all the way to the state capitol. As a result, the Illinois House and Senate passed legislation in May 2004 to protect citizens who use handguns in self-defense in their homes or businesses despite local handgun bans. The House accepted the DeMar self-defense bill by a vote of 86-25 and the Senate moved the legislation on a 38-20 vote.

And here lies the seminal moment for State Senator Barack Obama. When Obama turned thumbs down on the bill, he voted against the most basic element of the Second Amendment — the right of defense of self and family—the reason that millions of Americans own firearms.

When the governor vetoed the bill, Obama once again voted against a citizen’s right to self-defense. Despite his vote, the veto override passed the Senate and the House by overwhelming majorities, thereby enacting this bill into law.

Now, fast forward to today’s slippery oratory of U.S. Sen. Barack Obama just three years from being an unknown state senator—now morphed by the media into a spellbinding U.S. Senator seeking to be President of the United States .

Using words like “protecting sportsmen,” Obama is now saying that he believes in the Second Amendment … but with almost universal exceptions, all of which he lists under the heading of “common sense gun safety laws.”

“Common sense gun safety” and the Second Amendment? Like endorsing the D.C. gun ban, which outlaws armed self-defense in the home—now being challenged before the U.S. Supreme Court. Obama, who as President would be in the position to nominate justices to that high court, has declared that the D.C. ban doesn’t violate the Second Amendment.

“Common sense gun safety” and the Second Amendment? In a “1998 National Political Awareness Test,” he pledged to support a “Ban [on] the sale or transfer of all forms of semi-automatic weapons”—meaning most handguns and many rifles and shotguns that you and I own.

“Common sense gun safety” and the Second Amendment? Like demanding that the federal government preempt the 40 hard-won state laws creating Right-to-Carry. Here’s how the Chicago Tribune put it: “Obama said he opposed allowing ordinary citizens to carry concealed weapons and that a federal law banning concealed carried weapons except for law enforcement is needed.”

“Common sense gun safety” and the Second Amendment? Like the draconian proposals funded to the tune of $18,000,000 by the rabidly anti-gun Joyce Foundation while Obama was an activist member of its board of directors.

Obama’s alleged support of the Second Amendment is utterly cynical and false.
Barack Obama is not for the right to keep and bear arms; he’s out to destroy it.

Barack Hussein Obama spits on God’s laws. Our Father has commanded: Thou shall not kill. Barack Hussein Obama supports and has fought fiercely to allow babies who survive abortion should be left to die without medical treatment: “He refused to support S.B. 1095, which created a cause of action for harm or neglect that would come to a child “born alive” after a labor-induced abortion – supporting instead the barbaric practice of letting “aborted alive” babies die a grotesquely inhuman and excruciatingly torturous death by being tossed into a pan and left to die.” More info here:

My “Unique” views on Gun Control
From: CAJeffO@Yahoo.com

If you value your freedom, please spread this anti-gun control message to all of your friends. Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.

Take note my fellow Americans, before it’s too late! The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them of this history lesson. And show them these articles with an open ended invitation to publically debate me on this subject.

I believe schools should only allow teachers to conceal carry. I don’t want people under 21 having guns @schools. Hormonal and confused kids should not have access – Just like alcohol.  So, let’s stick with 21 for ability to carry on school campuses. This would stop all mass murders on school campuses.

IT’S A NO BRAINER!  DON’T LET OUR GOVERNMENT WASTE MILLIONS OF OUR TAX DOLLARS IN AN EFFORT TO MAKE ALL LAW ABIDING CITIZENS AN EASY TARGET.

Just think how powerful our government is getting!

They think these other countries just didn’t do it right.
I’m a firm believer of the 2nd Amendment!
If you are too, please <Forward>.

Damaging our 2ND AMENDMENT RIGHTS:
(APPARENTLY, THIS CASE SETS PRECEDENT AND IS IMPORTANT!)
The ruling from the Federal Judge in about 2 weeks will affect the gun rights of every Californian.  Must read article by Kimberly Dvorak who was the only reporter to attend the hearing last Monday.  The liberal mainstream media in CA doesn’t want you to know about this historic case!

- San Diego Examiner

…The plaintiff’s asked the court to simply look at the firearm policy, and find that it should be applied fairly and keep political preference out of the right to “keep and bear arms.” As the gavel fell, Judge Gonzalez acknowledged the legal significance of the case and said this precedent-setting 2nd Amendment case would have a written ruling in three-to-four weeks.  For those interested in the facts of this case, Mr. Peruta has published various facts at www.cagunrights.com.

This is outdated info. BUT I show it here to help kill the junk mail.
Vermont State Rep. Fred Maslack, went a step further in 2000 by introducing House Bill 760 which encouraged residents to protect themselves against crime. Under his bill, adults who choose not to own a firearm would be required to register their names, addresses, Social Security Numbers, and driver’s license numbers with the state.  ”There is a legitimate government interest in knowing who is prepared to defend the state should they be asked to do so,” Maslack says. The proposed bill would have required all non-gun owners in the state of Vermont pay a $500 fee to the state of Vermont. This bill did not pass.

Very informative blog. Your research is extensive and my hat is off to you. I wish more Americans would realize what a dangerous time we live in. Our fore-fathers would be in shock to see what is happening to our country. God bless you, Tom M

What a awesome posting. A pleasant shock, it occurs hardly ever, but below we can speak of the actual added value towards the reader. Most blogs are amateurish write-ups without having fine form and with errors. Here I am pleasantly stunned.

Thanks for your info! I used it with amazing results!

A trouble maker neighbor (whom I used to be friends with) is extremely pig headed about guns being “bad” for society. She has been on my nerves for 25 years! and up my ass about becoming an action pistol competitor and has caused huge arguements amongst neighbors.

Several weeks ago I gave her a printed copy of the great info here for the trouble maker (& most of the neighbors – your page on “Gun Rights – Gun History – Gun Facts”). Also showed her your challenge to debate any one & pay them to do it. Since then she has quit her griping & shut up.

Now my neighbors are joining me at the pistol range. And any day now I believe the trouble maker will be joining us. Our community feels safer already.

THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!!
Kat ;)
